Director of Photography
Yana Cairns is a Cinematographer and the other co-owner of Cinergy film. She has shot near to every moving image in Cinergy's portfolio of work plus numerous projects outside of the Cinergy company. She also has a large amount of experience in Production and often shoots still photography. She is currently working in Georgia with Cinergy Film on feature film 'Adam & Eve' after finishing work on TV show '500 days before my Suicide'
First Assistant Director
Danny Ormerod is an award winning film Producer and 1st Assistant director. He owns the London based Media production company, Slick Showreels and has over 15 years experience in film and television. His last film 'Dalston Heath' was screened at BAFTA and his latest, 'The Silent Child' has already picked up 2 Oscar Gateway nominations. He is currently working on a television series entitled 'Vor' which he is the writer and producer
Second Assistant Director
Charlotte is a production assistant and runner that has worked with Oakhill Productions since 2014, and has been on board with 'For Want Of A Nail' since the very beginning. After studying at Goldsmiths, UOL, Charlotte has been working both in and out of the industry, and is now taking the time to focus more on production work and is in the process of writing her first short.
1st AC & Steadicam Operator
Robert Cairns is a Producer, Director and the co-owner of Cinergy film. With over a decade of experience in the film industry, Robert has worked on over a hundred music videos, short films and corporate videos, also with a plethora of experience as a Cinematographer. He directed his first feature film in 2016 in India entitled 'Written In Ashes' and has his second feature starting production on August 20th this year entitled 'Poised'.
Mike also featured as Marty's Dad
Mike started out as a Cartoonist, then became an Airbrush Illustrator as well - working in Advertising, Publishing, and Animation, as a Background Artist - adding Storyboarding, Visualisation, and Location Design - He now work across many Media- working in-house or at his studio
Davie Walker is a freelance photographer based in Surrey. He got his BA in Photography at Southampton Solent, leaving university with a passion for landscape photography and portraiture. He moved onto doing a variety of work, with experience in events and weddings, band photography and landscape work. Currently he is working on the images for two books about Dorking’s Architectural Growth and landscape from the 1800’s to the 21st century, set to be published for Christmas
Tom is a camera operator fresh on the scene and eager for the industry. He has studied media for 3 years, worked on short films, including OP short 'All's Well' and live sets and has also worked with Eagle Radio on multiple occasions.

Since his teens Kasha has volunteered as an equal rights activist, initially promoting LGBT rights in my college, moving on to support LGBT in the Muslim
community. He has experienced first hand what it is like to be marginalised, judged and ridiculed for being different. Now in his 30's he's created TrueMinds, a platform to campaign independently. Raising awareness and fighting stigma of mental illness in the LGBT/Minority communities.
Kasha was 18 when first diagnosed with mental illness, the symptoms were present as early as 11 years old. He has been diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder, depression, anxiety, eating disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder and recent attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Kasha got involved with FWOAN right at the beginning, attending the workshop and working with Clark to ensure OCD was portrayed as honestly as possible.
Neds been working in the industry for over 25 years, the last 18 Years being freelance trading as 'Hardsound'. During this time he has completed broadcast TV Production courses at South Thames College, Ravensbourne and The School of Audio Engineering. He has worked on many Documentery's, L.E, Drama, Sport, Films both Feature and Shorts, Commercials, News and Magazine and Corporate programmes for all the major broadcasters U. K. and others worldwide. He more recently worked on the Oscar nominated short film 'The Silent Child'
Boom Operator & Lighting assistant
Zachary Cash turned 16 this summer, his passion for film and modern media has resulted in gaining a place on the Creative Media course at NESCOT in Epsom, which begins in mid September.

Olivia is a recent graduate from Rose Bruford College where she has spent the last 3 years studying set and costume design. Although her education has been based around theatre she has also worked on a variation of films and plans to expand her knowledge and design skill set on different projects within the arts.
Alena has been working as a make up artist in fashion photography, film and TV industry in Russia for over 5 years. Her extensive experience in various types of make up has creatively contributed to the look and visual style of 2 feature films, numerous shorts, commercials and music videos. Her recent work includes on films "Adam & Eve" and "Poised"

Lauren is currently in her final year at Reigate Grammer School studying for her GCSEs. She is very excited for the opportunity to learn more about what it's like on set, and how everything works in a professional production
Faye is in her last year of my GCSE course including studying art. She was very excited to be given the opportunity to work with a team on a film set. Faye has always been very interested in how films are made.

Ryan's a young generation, new- rising Chinese film director and editor, who strives for making great visual story to move you in a way you might not feel before. He is a very responsible creative person who is always willing to learn and experiment with new ideas, pushing out the boundaries.
He has solid professional work experience in production and post production in short films as well as at London Fashion Week, London Design Festival, commercials, music videos, documentary, and live TV drama and shows.
Mike is a colourist for adverts. He spends all my money on records and can totally relate to the protagonist in For Want Of A Nail!
